Finding this Fuji X100s challenging to use, just need more time with it I think though.

Is it the fixed focal length that's challenging?

No, the length is decent. I use mostly prime lenses anyways, so I like it.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Mostly AF issues - especially with landscape. Then on auto mode (I'm clumsy with the controls right now, so if I need to get a quick shot off) it seems to be very over exposed - portraits only?
I wonder if my cpl is cause me issues.

Screwing around with a bit of a new editing style, super trendy but not very timeless... Not too sure yet.

I've always used center-AF and recompose. Although the X100S will slightly struggle in low light. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
The X100 series is one of those type of camera that I would set to your preferred aperture and ISO, then let the camera deal with exposure.
Do you have any example of over-exposed portraits?
I like the 3rd pic, I like the colors because it is very soft/film like. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Yeah, I like the way the third pic came out.

The first one is really cool! I might need to pick up this Ricoh finally.

Yes, I use center-AF and then recompose. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Sorry, that's what I meant by auto - auto shutter speed. I set my aperture manually, told the camera the max ISO, set the shutter speed to auto.
I'll check next time I'm on my computer if I kept any examples.
