I think hondata is working on a flashpro for the crv. If that's the case it will cement it for me.

3400-3500lbs with 220hp 230tq would be excellent in this package.

I thought Civic Si is the maximum where the 1.5T will go without blowing up?

    220hp and 230tq on a CVT? That's crazy talk.

The forums have shown (as to length of reliable service is still up in the air) CVT at 240wtq.

I thought vitviper took his new Si to like 340tq then backed it off.

Dyno could be off, even if it's crank numbers that's very impressive.

Nope the motor isn't anywhere near maxed out in the Si or the current Hondata tunes (clutch is limiting factor around 260-270tq). Also for Honda to keep their reliability they would never release a car with a motor pushed just below its breaking point from the factory, that would be crazy - the Hondata tunes are as follows:

Regular Civic Sedan/Hatch - 225hp/254tq (9psi) for the 6MT and there are 3PSI and 6PSI tunes for the CVT for up to 214hp/220tq (CVT good for around 240tq).

Civic Si - 232hp/258tq (6psi) or 272tq (9PSI) but you need a clutch upgrade there.

Goes a long way in a car only weighing ~2,800 lbs.

Those are all daily driving reliable tunes. Hondata has been racing 3 regular Civic 6MT's with the 9PSI tune for months now with zero issues, driving it harder than most customers ever will.

So, you should be able to do a CRV tune around 214hp/220tq - it might even have a beefier CVT for the extra weight and AWD.

I did follow the Hondata and KTuner threads for a while. Decided to back off as it is my wife's DD. More power is nice for me but if something do go wrong then the warranty issue as you all know. Plus ours is a CVT where the difference is not as substantial.
