    Default Cheap mp3 player

    Hey guys,

So I put my iPod nano through the washer and wasn't able to recover it. I travel a lot and preferred using that over my phone, since it's super small/lightweight and didn't use my phone's battery. Also I don't have much storage space on my phone. I am able to add a USB-C to my phone to get way more songs, but still it's a pain to charge the phone as it uses the same slot.

I'm headed to China in a couple of weeks and would like to get an mp3 player for this trip. Does anyone know of a cheap yet good mp3 player that I might take with me? I could also get another apple product, but I imagine I won't use it much if at all after I get a new phone in a year or so. Plus I'm super cheap and would rather save the money if possible.

    Thanks all!

How do you like the interface? Is it easy to find specific tracks or play withing certain folders? My kid needs something, but unlike me, she's very specific about what she wants to listen to, so needs to be able to easily find things.

You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?

It has a really tiny screen, can display ~3-4 lines of scrolling at a time, so if you're hunting for a specific track in a huge folder you will be scrolling for a bit. Probably not the best player for a person who always wants to pick which track comes next.

I'm more of a "toss my favorite 100 tracks of the year into a folder, hit play" kind of person, and it works great for this purpose. For my albums, folder navigation is very quick and easy.
