Just got some, man I am Sodium drunk
My god, it's madness! If I don't make it out of here alive, tell my family to place my order on my grave.
Cheese burgers are $1.17, lol 50 cents for a slice of processed cheese, but you can buy 3 of those as well on the same order as 3 regular burgers.
Place was a madhouse for sure, i got there at 11:30 and was in and out in 5 mins, in that 5 mins, the place filled right up.... perfect timing for me.
The burgers were horrible as expected, like a 5:1 bun to meat ratio, just enough condiments to colour the bun, one tiny pickle... basically only worth the 67 cents.

I didn't know about the hamburger thing today. Went in to grab a coffee and noticed an unusual amount of asians at the crackmacs downtown calgary on 7th ave and 8th street. As I was lining up, someone mentioned it was cheap burger day so i was like sweet, cheap lunch, fuck the coffee. And whamo....it was a huge line up of asians all of a sudden. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
It's like shopping at superstore in the fruit section. When you see a huge group of asians huddled around, you know there's a kmart blue light special going on haha.
Sorry, but true.
Jesus. I went to the one in Harvest Hills at 2 and it was an absolute gong show. Couldn't walk through the crowd inside and the drivethru line up had at least 10 cars in it. Walked right out and went to Wendys.
All of that pain to save less than a dollar a burger? What is wrong with people.
Placed order, 8 min later got the burgers. right before noon... gong show for sure.
overpriced even at 0.67. rather pay double for a Mcdouble.

I hated the hamburger deal as a kid because what is a burger without cheese.
So needless to say, I attribute my childhood obesity to 49 cent cheeseburgers at McDonalds every Sunday
Ate 3 for lunch (crazy busy, took 20 minutes). Started feeling something weird in my stomach around 3. Bought 2 more on the way home (empty) and made a cheese-less McDouble, threw away the extra buns. Hopefully I make it through the night.
Before the interchange was put in, the DQ at Barlow/Glenmore/Ogden had 69 cent burgers every Friday and 99 cent burgers every other day. Was awesome when racing at race city, pick up a couple on the way to secret street.
