Be advised that BFG has released a new product # for the KO2 - they've changed the compound and it's no longer stamped with the 3-peak mountain/snowflake. Apparently KO2's wear quickly because they're soft so BFG is using a different compound to improve longevity.

I thought the E rated LTX had a 80,000 km tread life guarantee? The passenger tread life is 110,000 km. Hopefully they wear alright for me.

Need @tirebob to confirm this. When I bought my second set in TX they had two part numbers. One with snowflake and one without.

It is only certain sizes that are frequently used for severe heavy duty work applications that are available in the new compound made for severe duty, and yes they are not 3PMS rated in these specific sizes. They are called the KO2 "DT". Basically they are made with a tougher, more durable rubber compound that is more resistant to tearing and bruising, but you are sacrificing pliability in cold, icy conditions.

The only sizes they are available in are as follows.

    LT265/75R16 123/120R E
    LT285/75R16 126/123R E

    LT285/70R17 121/118R E

    LT275/70R18 125/122R E

    LT275/65R20 126/123S E
    LT285/65R20 127/124S E

My ko2 are ready to be replaced, so far i've been impressed with them without any issues during my usage. I heard alot of good thing about the Falkan wildpeak at3w which will most likely be my next set of tires

I have the Hankook Dynapro ATM on my taco and love them for both summer and winter so far. Winter rated all season with M&S snowflake. Way cheaper than the KO2's. Wear is decent on them too for a softer all season.
