Default Jaguar XE SV Project 8 - The Most Extreme Production Jaguar Ever Built

Well, we all know how amazing of a vehicle the F-type SVR is.

The folks from the special vehicle operations division at Jaguar are going to be releasing an even more extreme vehicle next year. The XE SV project 8. With 592 hp from a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine, the Project 8 is the most powerful street-legal Jaguar vehicle in history. Total production will be strictly limited to 300 cars worldwide, each one hand-assembled at the SVO Technical Centre in Warwickshire, England.

Will any Beyonder's be trying to get their hands on one?

Get one in a boring colour, remove the wing and all aero bits and then surprise people at stoplights.

If anybody is interested, there is one allocation left in Calgary. Just need a $20k deposit.

I've seen the F-Type Project 7 selling above MSRP , I think this would certainly be a decent buy for somebody!

Is SVO products that desirable? Or will they just dilute it down the road like M and AMG once they get it going?

97% of the population will just think it's a regular Jag anyway.

Wait... what? They are actually selling this in Canada?

What is the retail on one of these cars anyway?

Obligatory: "More than you can afford pal, FfffffXeSV..."

    EDIT: http://www.thedrive.com/new-cars/119...ll-cost-192000

So 192,000 USD? I kind of dig the 90's skyline look about it, but not for that price, lol...

that's ridiculous! I can't ever imagine paying that much for a Jag.....for that price I would get a new S6 and a used R8 and call it a day lol.....

Coming from the perspective of a recent Jaguar owner (though mine was nowhere the vehicle this is) - I can effectively say I feel this is huge waste of money.

592 horsepower. One can buy an XFR for less than 30g these days. Granted that's "only" 510hp, but can be easily tuned to the same horsepower levels as this. Still not the same level of car, but not really far off for some 10-15% of the price of this car new. No thanks.

Not even! I think I had it on the road 9 days?

Honestly though - it gave me an excellent sense of the dynamics Jaguar now offers in their vehicles. They are far better cars than they used to be, but I think they still have a ways to go before they can justify that kind of money for this car.
