Farmers - haven't read anything in the thread regarding this, but the new law will greatly affect inheritance. This opens the door for an inheritance tax similar to the US on the general population too, not just "business owners(farmers are included in this)". I haven't looked into the specifics, I just know every farmer in my general area is using 4 letter words and "Trudeau" very frequently in the same sentences. From what they've been complaining about - farmers complaining right, but it sounds like they have cause this time - it sounds like there will be a high, as in extremely high, tax, if they leave their farm to their children. This means that generational farming, something the west is built on, will disappear, and land prices will skyrocket, and it'll fuck the whole system up. Again, according to farmers, not me, don't shoot the messenger.

As great a threat these new laws could be to small business, you harm the farming sector, that disaster will make the oil/gas price slide look like a day at the beach.

Starting to become an Andrew Scheer fan.

Trudeau looked visibly agitated by the end. Scheer is definitely doing his job as leader of the opposition.

The look on the faces of the rest of the Liberal MP's, they don't look all that enthralled with Trudeau's canned repetitive responses... He really came off bad in that exchange, he might be the Dion Phaneuf of politics.. He might have gotten them into government, but he might also cost them dearly in the third period.... Even Warren Kinsella has turned on Trudeau as of late, saying that the Liberal leadership has fallen back into its bad habit of believing its own polls, and thinking it can get away with anything...

At least a thanks from poor people would be nice. They just look at me like I'm an asshole flaunting my wealth and automatically hate me.

How well do you think a "Thank a rich person" campaign targetted at poor people will go?

How do you even target poor people? I don't think they even have internet... Perhaps fliers scattered under over-passes?
