I purchased this yesterday to check out how the streaming is but it's on Kodi

Wondering If I buy the box if the guide will work and if I records shows? (how long can it record for?)

It looks like this, pretty annoying, i let it load overnight but no luck..

Yeah, I've never had the guide either, but it doesn't really bother me. I've used it both on Kodi, and outside of Kodi with the STBEmu app (on my MiBox), and prefer it in STBEmu. Tempted to get an actual MAG box since the STBEmu is just a MAG box emulator.

Anyone else with buffering issues using Shaw internet and an IPTV service? We've been dealing with it for a year. After numerous techs have blamed our equipment, wiring, set-up, etc. we've troubleshooted everything and it's definitely their internet.

    We've tried
    -New modem from shaw
-Upgrade from 25 mbps to 75 (speed tests say we're getting the full 75 and regardless 25 is plenty)
-New splitters and amplifiers installed by shaw techs
-Bypassing our router and plugging ethernet cable straight into modem

Finally I gave up and after a year of thinking it was just cheap servers on the other end, I trialed telus 50 for a month and all of the problems are gone. Nothing else has changed - same cables, same router, same equipment, just a different ISP.

Does shaw somehow know that you're streaming video constantly and down throttle you? Their techs deny it, but that's the only plausible explanation I can find. Something like netflix seems to work fine though. I absolutely hate telus but I might not have a choice now other than to get internet through them. I'm currently paying for both so I can compare side to side but sooner or later that'll need to stop.

Sooo I've been really looking into IPTV recently and found a member on reddit

    https://www.reddit.com/user/iptvking

Helped me out tons and answered all my questions.

Ended up purchasing IPGUYS becuase it had both polish + Global however the quality is pretty shit, but price is cheaper than anywhere else (Will all be same quality)

I also got the Vader package

    https://rajtv.stream/product/one-mon...ackage-vaders/

Quality is great and can be played on 5 screens (3 diff IPS) for personal use only.

Loving it, and highly recommend contacting him if you need a sub or got questions.

    Website is: http://rajtv.stream/

Recently signed up to Vaders on fire sticks and it works good for the most part. I find that it buffers here and there. Hoping it doesn't do that when hockey comes back though.

VOD is okay as it seems to buffer a bit. FYI I am on shaw300. Anyone else have issues?

decided to order the RajTV Vaderstream and see how it works.
How does the payment work, is it recurring or every month you order the service? (i messaged him already to inquire the option but curious to hear how others have done it)

I've been looking for this thread, I cancelled my Telus last week so haven't had TV other than streaming netflix and other sites
Anyone recommend some streaming devices? Not really looking at the Nvidia Shield, not a gamer

Edit. that's a painful looking website

I used vaderstreams.ca. They have the most organized website and have videos to install on most platforms. I went with the month to test it out

I've tried smoothstreams, vaderstreams, ok2 and epicstreams.

If you want sports then go with any of above except ok2.

Smooth and vader you can split between 3 people. Smooth is just sports pretty much. Vader has other channels.

Epic has everything but is much pricier.

ok2 is pretty stable and cheap but quality is not there.

I got a mibox after my shield stopped working. It's the only other android tv box. Firestick is another option but specs are a bit lower.

Nothing works as good as Eternal TV. I've had it for months now, and its nearly all in HD, no buffering, great APK for firestick and other android boxes.

    Where'd you get it from?

I signed up with vaderstreams for 1 month to test it out

eternaltv.net is the site. They do rotating availability though for the packages, so if the one you want is "out of stock", keep trying throughout the day, or sign up for a different one and submit a ticket for the change when you're signed up and they'll migrate you. The support is really good for it, in a facebook group and a telegram chat. Everything gets answered and solved, and the service has been rock solid

That website is tough, guess it's what they need to do to hide what they do

Is there more details on what you're signing up for? channels, differences between the 1/3/5 is that concurrent connections?

I forgot about trying eternal since there is usually no sign up available. I renewed Vader for 6 months since I can split it with two people.

Too lazy to bother with eternal tv lol.

Been on vaderstreams for one month and will likely renew for 6 months. It's good quality and it goes down sometimes, but I pay a hell of a lot less than Shaw.

I tried vaderstreams and it is a pretty good alternative although some US channels would disconnect after a little while.

Would keep it but don't really need it at this point as we are using relatives Shaw Freerange TV accounts and pretty much what we consume now a days is mostly YouTube and occasional NetFlix

I'm just hoping it pans out for NFL and NHL. Heard it's one of the best for sports
