Photo radar is radar and not optical based. It doesn’t care what you paint your car, as long as radar bounces off it haha.

I get the radar part about clocking the speed. But when the camera takes a photo of the licence plate, it'll have a hard time focusing right? Kinda like how photo journalist's camera have a hard time focusing on test mule vehicle due to the black and white camo vinyl wrap.

Or I am completely out to lunch on how photo radar camera works?

The E coupe is a unique car where there are no comparable competitors because it’s a low volume seller, that’s why there won’t be an E63 coupe because the demand is nil, except for a couple of crazies like us haha.
    M6?

That Camo makes it easier to focus with a camera. Camera's need sharp contrast / vertical / horizontal lines to focus on.

E63 looks amazing. MB has so many nice wagon options now, my personal favourite being the CLS.

Seats only 4 I think but I still love it though. An acquaintance has one, white with red and black interior and wood panelling for the floor of the trunk, very swank.

They just have to revive the R63 now

CLS Shooting Brake is a 5 seater. That's gone for the next gen. No CLS63 either, that's being replaced by the AMG GT 4 seater, with a supercar 800hp hybrid version the year after. The hybrid drivetrain is probably what that E63 widebody wagon was testing to bring it all back on topic haha.

Went in to the dealer today....happened to be dressed like a scrub, so no one bothered me. lol

Wanted to check out the interior of the E class. Looked great on the low-option E400 that was there. Although the stock seats are not great. Also checked out the GLE interior because I'd like to replace Mrs. Buster's GL350 with a GLS63. But the interior of the GLE (which I think is the same?) was pretty disappointing.

Ran into @JordanLotoski there too, which was a nice surprise.

Here's the config I've got currently. I don't really need all the driving assist stuff, or the premium package. I tend to buy my cars with lower options. The only thing I've got on there is the driver's package.

This is how I would build mine. So tempted. But I totally don’t need it given mine only has 44K km.

Performance seats, premium and wireless charging. Drivers package for the exhaust. If I was Buster rich, I would get CCB.

I Saw that blue today, and its goddamn beautiful. I'm just on a "lighter color" kick. The brilliant blue is also fantastic.

But Mercedes is one of those brands where really all of the color options are great.

Ya, that's pretty low. Has yours been easy to deal with as a daily? Any major maintenance/quality headaches?

Is that designo lacquer cool in person? I've never seen it.

The dynamic seats are awesome. I had them in my CLS. They’re part of the premium package on the E63, can’t get them individually unfortunately.

I ordered the wagon last week in blue to match Jordan. E400 though for the jump seats in the trunk.

Don't you have enough connections at MB at this point, that you can get them to do a one-off E63S with the jump seats?

Unfortunately, no. I tried so hard to get the GLA45 without leather to get the awesome alcantara seats, no dice. I heard it’s available this year tho in that funky AMG studio edition.

Buying the wagon for the gf, so no need to go 63 anyways.

I've seen it in the S-class. Problem is that it is a fingerprint magnet and scratches easy. In reality, I'd probably get open pore wood or carbon again.

No real issues. Front suspension on early cars needed some greasing. Been fine every since. We had an issue with the parking sensors that seems to have solved it self.

After many ECU updates, the auto-stop-start finally doesn't stall in intersections for my wife. I've never experienced it because I sit, push the start button and turn one click to the right. Everything else has been great.

Front coils, rear air for the E63 last gen. I believe this gen has full air body control on all 4 corners.

    Where did you see that?

On the C63 they are front only and that is reflected in the cost. $13K is the same price as the W212 and that was all 4. I'd expect that the W213 is also all 4.

I must have been looking at the wrong build/model when I saw that.

I grabbed one for my wife and the hardest part was picking the interior colours. I HATED the interior when it was all black and it looked cheap to me. I ended up going with black wood and white seats and it completely changed the look, completely different and I fell in love. The dash and all other leather is all black though.

If you want to see it in person then let me know and I can show you or post pics at some point.
