Default Where do you get Winter Rims & Tires?

Used to order winter tire/rim packages from tirerack.com when dollar was closer to par and found their service pretty good overall.

Anything similar for combined offers north of the border anyone know of? Good places near and around Calgary for rims/tires combo in general?

1010tires out of Vancouver is good and free shipping.

I went to Urban X last year, got Blizzaks plus steelies for about $1100 (Murano sizing) will probably use them again as it was same day service and decent pricing...

Which one is Bob...funny thing, don't get N and S mixed up. I called and gave my credit card number to the South location thinking it was the North, I had to go South after work then all the way back up to Airdrie. The guy at the South location was super nice though, even offered to deliver up in Airdrie

Gary and Cort are the guys at Urban X South. They are my go to guys for all of my wheel and tire needs, from winter to drag setups.

Yeah well I wonder how they get the soft flowing caramel inside the Caramilk bar but you don't see me making a god damn thread about it. Slap your wife Baygirl, straighten him out.

If you're looking online forget TireRack and go to PMCTire. Free shipping, mounting and balancing. Their prices are on par with Costco.

Costco, order them online or in store, they have a promo right now for $70 off a set of bridgestones, also they carry steelies online (not in store).

$15/tire for mount/balance/nitrogen, free flat repairs/rotations for the life of the tire, and easy Costco warranty repairs/replacements

It's not the size that matters, it's the taste it leaves in your mouth.

I call 5 or 6 places and just go with the cheapest quote. Last time I bought winter tires and rims, Urban X South was quite a bit cheaper than Urban X North on the identical package. I called North and they wouldn't match it, so I went to the South one. I also favor places that do free mount & balance since that can add up.

Bridgestone and Michelin run that $70 promo every year that I have seen. When I last did it, it was a mail in rebate that gave you a prepaid AMEX that you can't use anywhere

when you do the promo at costco they just discount them right there, no mail-in.

Gary and Cort are great. I have dealt with Bob years ago and he was great as well. Can't go wrong with UrbanX
