The rear wheel drive R8 is now a standard base model, not a limited series car.

    Decent pricing still, too.
Might have something to do with being a warmed over 13 year old car...

I do love the interior. However I would get a boxster if I wanted to overpay for a rwd car.

Why is it so slow for that price range?

What’s the pricing on a RWD R8 now? Can you option it?

Couldn’t find one on the Audi.ca website.

Great news if you didn’t get an RWS, but I probably would of got the LP580-2 had I known Audi would of done this.

What is the differentiating factor in the performance model and base model HP figures? I know there is about a 40 HP delta, but what causes that difference? Slightly different tune? Is there any value in getting the performance model if you don't care about black mirrors or the wing?

    I think it's 60 hp and AWD.

They don't have the 2021 up on the site yet. I think the RWD is 540hp.

Gotcha, still confused as to why anyone would spend the $$ for the performance model over the base quattro though.

I'd just get the RWD instead of either quattro.

No difference other than tune. You can tune the 540hp version to above V10 plus numbers safely (+60WHP on an NA car..crazy!)

Well, I listed mine for MSRP and was offered asking by two serious buyers within a week. Is the chip shortage causing problems for exotic car deliveries? Thinking I’m going to hold onto it for a couple more months to see where the market goes.
