    Default 1+3t phone upgrade question...

Hey guys quick question, I've been out of the phone game for a few years but I'm wanting to upgrade my old 1+1...

    I can get a excellent condition 1+3t 128gb from a coworker who's upgrading for $425.

Looks like a fair deal compared to what I see on Kijiji. Just wondering hive mind thoughts...

    Thanks

Great phone! Depending on the usage/care of use/condition it may be worth it.

Well its $599 brand new from Oneplus - so if it was well taken care of and you dont mind buying a second hand phone to save a bit of dough then do it up!

I have the 1+3 and still love it. Make sure he gives you the dash charger that goes with it though.

I'd spend the extra $225 to get the oneplus 5 brand new.

My.reasoning is looking at it from a performance perspective. While the 3 may be a decent phone, even used, it still.has been out for a year already.

Technology gets obsolete quickly, the 3 being a practical phone now may end up being not so practical quicker than you think, requiring you to buy another phone sooner.

Thats what happened to my nexus 5x, was good at first but rapidly went downhill. Of course, most people don't keep.phones for more than two years, so you may be ok.

I'm just a oneplus 5 fanboi right now. Its a great phone.

    Used value goes, it's fair.

Comparatively, OP5 is worth the extra $225. And there are probably other 820/821 phones that you can have new in the price range as well, give or take a few things.
