Who's going to be picking this up?

Preordered the steel book edition from amazon, got my Logitech g29 wheel warrantied (left paddle shifter was wonky) - ready to go.

What do you guys think about the PS4 pro / 4K TV combo? Is it worth it for this game? Looking at comparison videos on YouTube , it doesn't look like there are any significant differences visually, besides a more consistent 60 fps frame rate on the pro.

I have been playing the demo...game play is all right...I am worried about the car list...but fingers crossed they add as time goes on??...

I know, I know the argument can be made that they should ship or offer a complete game....but meh....I am too much of a GT Fanboi haha....

I'm pissed off that Fanatec once again fucked everyone over by promising that the Clubsport V2 wheelbase that was released was an all new design that promoted compatibility between all consoles by moving the required logic into the steering wheel. By swapping wheels, you would gain future compatibility by just buying a steering wheel. I expected to buy a PS4 compatible wheel and easily switch between consoles. Nope, PS4 only available with CSL Elite PS4 edition. Not only that, they released the CSL Elite wheelbase at 1/2 the price for Xbox One.

This company pisses me off, but fuck do they ever make the best wheel out there.

Bah, just read that the GT-Sport demo didn't even support the Fanatec and had no FFB. They are working on a fix with Sony.

The obvious question is that if you attach the Xbox wheel, can the PS4 CSL Elite be used on both consoles? But of all the reviews I watched, I've only seen 1 where they attach the Xbox wheel, but don't ever run it on an Xbox.

Makes me want to hold out for a direct drive to come out considering the price point of these two. The Accuforce V2 dropped $500 from the V1, so it's starting to become an option for more racers.

GT Sport supports the Fanatec CSL Elite PS4 edition only. It only has no FFB when not using any other fanatec wheel such as the standard CSL Elite or the more expensive Clubsport V2/2.5 that I own, which makes it fucking useless.

Nobody knows if you can plug in the XB1 wheel to the CSL Elite PS4 edition and have it work for XBOX, and Fanatec hasn't directly answered that yet.

Not that it matters much, I've given up on racing games on PS4 anyways. The grass is greener on XB1 especially in 4K next month.

Some of you might have tried the demo version of GT Sport which is online as of today. Unfortunately, at this time it is not possible to select the CSL Elite Racing Wheel in the GT Sport controller options menu. Therefore players can’t enjoy some of the wheels advanced features in the game, such as Force Feedback.

Gameplay is pretty good, but car vehicle sounds aren't great and shadows still look they're from the PS3. Usually i am a huge GT fan, but lack of a career mode and performance customization like in times past kind of ruin this game for me.
