Funnily enough I had a kid 3 years ago in my class connect me to the video that was posted for beyond's anniversary. I just said all Asians look the same and called him racist...didn't help that he was Asian too.

But yeah, you're right that the days of old are wearing on and I actually find that comforting. Unfortunately, everything ends up online and some kid this year noticed that it was me and my car that were on a lowcalz youtube video. I thought about this too but we have to remember that everyone has different experiences at different ages. You might have had your first "real" relationship at 18 and someone else might have not had one until he was 28. On top of that, maturity will also factor into it. If the first time you were hurt by a girl was at 30, and someone else at 16, I'm certain that the feelings would be quite similar.

Not to say that the OP did not get much ass growing up but maybe this is the first time he has experienced this sort of issue and it's new to him. Like for some people on this board, when is the first time you got touched by your uncle? For some, it might have been at a much younger age than others!

Just figured I would chime in with an update 6 weeks later...

We sat down, had our long talk and made a point of letting her know how upset I was, how inappropriate her replying was, etc.

Her behaviour has changed significantly. About a week after our talk and her text to him telling him to stop her messaged her again... he has been blocked since then. Her and I continue to spend a ridiculous amount of time together and things are really great. I really don't know if she was just oblivious to it or finally came to her senses, but it has altogether stopped.

Sorry, I know you guys probably wanted to hear that she was a bitch and I'd be replying and posting nudes, but that's not happening, lol.

And to whoever said maybe she just a banging 10/10 and OP doesn't think he can do better... you were right... she is, lol

Im going to sound like a grumpy dad: but a girl who is 10/10, in her 30s and has to be told to stop actively replying to her ex's sexting thats been going on for years - just screams issues later on.

The hottest girls I knew and some that I dated (in my 20s) were all fraught with various issues: either super self centered or dumb as bricks, or lesbian.

In other words, short term or shallow relationships only.

I know where you are coming from and it's definitely good advice to be cautious. I consider myself to be a pretty good judge of character and Yes, like everyone she has some flaws (just as I do), but I'm hopeful we've worked past our biggest issue...

I would suggest that the biggest factor in long term, stable relationship are values.

Money, sex and religion/spirituality.

If you guys generally agree on those 3 values, its probably going to be ok. Money for eg, if shes a spender and your a saver. The sex part I was questioning as she was still sexting years on, but if thats been solved and the rest are not of concern, then you should be ok.
