Where do Hotels buy their paintings?

Long story short, my wife and I stayed at the Acclaim hotel in Calgary before flying out for our honeymoon. She loved a certain painting they had in the hallway of a bunch of cows. I want to get her one for her birthday, so I called the hotel and they won't sell it. They looked all over the painting and it doesn't have any name or anything pertaining to where it came from. Curious if they all use a certain distributor or is it all random?

It will likely be a print of some sort. Try a Google Image search of various terms, see if anything is familiar? Maybe take a good clear pic, crop it, and try a reverse image search? Their machine learning is getting better about "seeing" the picture and less about comparing jpeg attributes like a few years back. Or, post the pic on Beyond / Reddit, take some ridicule for your choice in art, and someone will know the print.

I called the hotel again and the front desk told me they would take a picture and send it to me. I will see if that works, thanks!

get/take a photo and take it to a print place. They might have something on file. Or google

Well Google reverse search did not help. Talked to a couple Art places and they assume it is a one off possibly from a local person, or a Giclee from somewhere. Oh well, was worth a shot

Please do. Most of the hotel paintings I've seen tend to be quite generic and rather uninspired so I'd really like to know what this looks like!

Sometimes Google image search needs help too. I tried with just the photo and it tried with "Modern Art" as a text addition. Deleted that and put in "Cow Art" and it was the first hit.

Funny a photo like that ships from Hong Kong. Wonder who's picture it really is
