Mercedes launched their program a while back, opening up a full on AMG tier.

    https://www.carscoops.com/2020/02/me...-3595-a-month/

    $3595USD a month, which is around $4600 CAD a month. Gets you access to GT63 4 door, GT-C, GT Roadster, G63, E63, S63 Coupe.

That's actually not terrible, considering it includes everything including insurance.
Depending on which model you're interested in, this could actually be a more economical way of driving an S63 or GT Roadster... But not so much if you're more interested in a G63...

Well, it's about more convenient and potentially drive fresher models more often. If you think about it, $4600*60 = $276000. You can almost own 1 C63 and a GT for that price.

But you wouldn't be able to drive a G63 as a winter beater. Also in the end you'll end up with a 5 year old C63 and GT, while you'll always be driving the latest and greatest through the 5 years.

The better comparison would be how much is your TCO if you kept flipping cars, even once a year, to achieve a similar outcome. As someone who used to own a summer + winter car, and upgrade one yearly, that was a colossal waste of money. This is a lower TCO, and geared towards owners like that.

That's essentially what I was getting at... Your TCO on an S63 over the first year would be roughly equivalent (considering insurance is covered through the subscription), without the added benefit & flexibility of having access to multiple vehicles. I see how this could be compelling to their target market...

This reminds me of Steve Jobs when he was leasing a new identical SL63 every 6 months in perpetuity.
