As a kid I always thought Venom was very cool but really didn't know the story that well. Pretty stoked for this one if they can keep it in a darker tone.

I can only imagine Carnage is coming down the pipe.

Woody Harrelson has confirmed he's got a small role in this movie that leads into a larger role in the sequel and though he hasn't said what role he plays, a lot of entertainment click bait articles have made the jump to claim that he'll be Carnage.

I'm really on the fence about this movie though. On one hand, I really like how Tom Hardy is playing Eddie Brock. On the other hand, I think Venom looks kinda stupid, though I get how it might be kinda hard to translate from comic book into live action.

I'm not sure I like Hardy potrayal as Venom since he plays him like a junkie who has no say in the matter but it looks like he embraces the symbiote as the movie goes on.

The CGI reminds me of 1997's Spawn movie and the dialogue sounds terrible.

Considering this is only the second iteration of a live action Venom, I'll take it over "Eric Foreman" Venom. But I do agree he could look better, just not sure how haha. Not even sure if the symbiote suit will have the spider on it, I couldn't tell from the trailers.

I remember Eddie Brock being a MF dick. I don't really like this Portrayal nor his accent. Movie looks like a bomb.
