You also file a Civil case because players gotta pay. Then, mysteriously drop that and end up pleading the fifth in the criminal trial because the story about losing your phone could bugger you. Now your case will almost certainly be dismissed because you're essentially unable to testify as an accuser and Kevin's life is no longer ruined. Everything back to normal.
Oh wait...

So, I think Kevin Spacey is quite likely a bit of a bad guy who's perhaps done some bad things but the reaction to the accusations against him have been more hasty and "conclusive" according to the public than Weinstein, Cosby, Global Warming and Louis CK combined and that's bullshit, particularly when you see how completely fraudulent one of these cases appears to be. Try getting a DA to go with you to trial with equivalent "evidence" against someone other than Kevin Spacey. Good luck!

I agree that would be a perfect system. It would clean up probably 90% of false accusations. I also think the same should apply to Police officers giving out bogus tickets - they should have to pay the fine instead.
