No. Mgm grand was the largest and opened in 1993. Still the largest single hotel building in the world.

    We're both right, Snuggles.
I know MGM Grand is bigger, I just apparently had the date wrong as Excalibur opened in 1990.

    I like the Cosmo, balconies.

    Aria is next favourite.

But I like staying at the Golden Nugget over all haha

Being downtown Vegas just makes me feel dirty. I was tripping acid once watching the light show on Fremont and felt like I could stare into the souls of all the trash around. Made me feel sad, had to get the hell out of there haha.

I’m headed back shortly for 3 nights on the strip and 2 nights in Zion.

I don't think I'd want acid anywhere in Vegas.

Both that and Venetian are gorgeous.
You should go eat a dry aged steak at Capital Grill across from Wynn.

Venetian and Palazzo are nice hotels. No insider tips.

This is pre-covid so I'm not sure if it's still relevant but the Happy Hour at Sugar Cane (in Palazzo) is awesome. Good list of drinks and appetiziers, including oysters, on special.

Milos is also a great restaurant for lunch. We used to go all the time when it was at the Cosmo but they moved to Palazzo recently I think.

We stopped by there because my wife wanted to see the light show and we lasted 10 mins. That place is on a whole other level of dirty.

I was there about 5 years ago and that was a very nice place, the rooms are huge and have a nice living room to hang out in.

and I did not have the only say in the matter (most people just want it done ASAP and don't care about quality).

If anything we made a better decision because we had a consensus and were all on the same page.

Mott32 has good dim sum and Peking duck. X pot in the mall is pretty good too for something different. Sushi samba has some great rolls and awesome wagyu dumplings. That’s all I know for good food in palazzo/Venetian.

Fav Vegas restaurant is Hachi in China town. Others I’ve mentioned before
