$1000 per couple may not get you Aria including flight but I could be wrong. Even with the quietest Christmas season.

yeah $1000 per person is a very good budget. We were looking at $750 pp in Jan for 5 nights at the Cosmo including flights.

+1. The deep jacuzzi with a view of the fountain at night and the balcony for a nice drink in the morning. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I went and booked with Vegas.com back in October. I've used expedia between 10-15 times and this time really turned me off, so I checked Vegas.com and ended up booking with them. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Even with the exchange rate, we actually saved (can't remember exactly) between $4-600 on the pavkage, i couldnt believe it.
As far as favorite hotel, I don't tend to spend a whole lot of time in them so I don't go real ritzy, but my favorite so far has been Caesar's.
$1000 per person for flights and hotel. I'll look into the suggestions so far, keep them coming!
If possible, it's cheaper to wait for a seat sale (I'm sure there'll be one for boxing day??) and then book hotel separately. Otherwise vacation packages from Expedia or Westjet Vacations is a good way to go, especially for a larger group.
Also if you are not super picky and are super budget conscious, you can always book the hotel through sites like hotwire. Since there are so few hotels on the strip, it's relatively easy to guess what hotel it is. Not huge savings though unless it's for places like the Trump Tower, so not sure if it's worth the trouble. Although I did get Treasure Island once for $80/night and when I checked in they let me opt-out of the $28/day Resort Fee package (internet + access to pool). Not a bad deal.
Finally like someone here said earlier, you can sign up for the hotel's player's club (Wynn = Red Card, Caesar's = Total Rewards, MGM = Mlife, etc) and then call them up to see what kind of deals you can get.
are you guys planning on going to nightclubs for any DJ events? if so, check out the schedule for that weekend and maybe plan around that? i.e. if your fav DJ is playing at XS, maybe stay at the Wynn so you can go early and not have to worry about cabs/etc... might even get a good deal /cheap entry (i know pool parties you can get in free/cheaper if you're staying at the hotel - not so sure about night clubs)This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. for location and price I love the Mirage, and their poker room is meh, but alright...
Wynn is by far my favorite though. Poker room is my favorite, hotel is just jaw dropping too...
The city center hotels do nothing for me tbh... I'd rather stay at Caesars and cut my costs, plus the poker room lol.
Stayed at the Venetian last year, the suite we stayed at relied too much on a slow ass elevator. (from the lobby check in, you take this elevator like 2-3 floors, then you get to the pool corridor) Given it was Christmas, too many large family or groups stay at this hotel at the time. It's more bontique store wandering and kid friendly, wouldn't be my choice if you're in ur 20-30's imo. Tho the pizza restaurant in the open food court was delicious, then grab some gelato, and go for some romantic stroll of some sort.
T.I. always good bang for buck, closeness to a lot of strip action, imo.
I like NYNY too, fun 20-50yo crowd within the area after 10pm? ish... That steak house inside NYNY, imo, still can't beat Alberta beef.
Really want to try the sit down tub/ ceiling-floor glass rooms at Cosmo next time in LAS.

My list of random For Sale (some free) stuff
We don't really have a plan as for what we're doing but I'd like to put together something, I'm not much of a planner though haha.
It's mostly a party trip from what I gather. We're all 27-34 age group. I'm the only one of the four of us that has been to Vegas before but like I said earlier, it's been several years and those were just boys trip to drink and party.
Top golf is fun. If you have more serious golfers, a real course can be fun and with "caddies" it still feels like Vegas.
Always budget at least one night downtown. It's not a Vegas trip till you've been asked to leave the golden gate or the plaza.

You spend so little time in your room, it makes not difference. I have a soft spot for the Rio. The base room is more a suit, and If for some strange reason you dont rent a car for $12 a day, they have shuttles to the strip, and the 3 best value buffets in Vegas in walking distance. Even stratosphere was renovating last time amd i wouldn't stay at circus flea circus.
5 year bump! Has anyone been lately? From what I can see prices are bonkers but I'm comparing that to pre-pandemic so it's probably like that across the board. Might have to slum at a 4.5 star.
I've been to alot of them, im not too picky but even though Caesars is getting a little older, I think it was my favorite place to stay. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Mirage is my favourite for being in the right location, small enough not to get lost, nice, but not wildly expensive. Not like any are "bad" anyway. So just find the best deal I guess.

So does anybody else get escorts approaching them while gambling or do I just look like a mark?

Right across from Mandalay!
I like the MGM pool for chill days, but beyond that we don't spend much time at the hotel so they all feel similar.
I don’t gamble so that’s also my choice. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
