Ok I guess I’ll shop around. Ppl saying 5-20% off of msrp isn’t uheard of. I’ll c if times r hard n if they let u finance on discounts.

0% finance over x months and if u don’t pay it off after the term it goes to like credit card interest rates

So for the bashers y wouldn’t u choose int free for 10/20 months. Instead of droppin 30-40k cash, i could low risk invest that
    need vs want.
who's stupid enough to be 30-40k in debt for a watch?
even if it doesn't depreciate as quickly as a car, not like it will increase in value.
buy something like this when you have the money.

Don’t know much about watches just like the Rolex day date look.

Birkenhaus for the poor people like myself to maybe qualify for the 10/20 month no interest payments
Im certainly no watch expert, but isn't a $40,000 watch something you generally buy once you own 3 Ferrari's and 2 homes and a yacht?

Also, "Rolex" and "poor" should never be used in the same paragraph.

If that look is something you're after, why not try something - say $400?

Grey market Rolex ... bad idea ..

Ok, other than resell, buy from local is always better, or at least, buy from Canada. (unless big price diff ..say 15% or more!)
If you live in big city, such as Tokyo, Hong Kong, NY, may not be big deal, many watchmen can repair/service Rolex, but one big reason for Rolex being so popular, is low service and repair cost.

5 year warranty for Canada, and some store offer 10 year extended warranty!

20% off for a Steel Rolex?

Well, it is only 4pm, may be in 8 hour ...

After trying to read this, I fully understand why you are trying to finance a watch.
