What is this business about generators and heat?

I did new home construction for years, they'll have temp furnaces with propane hung in the basement. Source? I hung a fuck ton of those bitches back in the day.

Leaving generators on at night is fucking bullshit

The city changed the code on heaters a couple years ago. No more open flame. As we used to use those ~5' propane torches. Jam them in the garage + tarp up everything and heat away. We had to rent much larger electric ones in the early stages or during cold winters as we only kept so many of the small wattage ones on hand. Plus the amount of cables to heat up in shitty conditions gets out of hand.
