Default Who has black granite? Removing stains?

So ive always had light colored granites and never had issues with stains. I have a black granite and when the light shines on it, you can see water rings all over it and it drives me nuts.

Does anyone know how to fix this ? Googling some of it is weird solutions that I don't trust to do without some real world experience from someone, and who better to turn to than beyond lol

    soap/wash scrube down with a green/yellow scotchbrite.
clean microfiber towel to wipe down/dry.

No marks. no prints. no film. Dark is so much harder just like a dark car.

Just like a car though, it helps immensely to keep it waxed (sealed).

The house is only 1.5 year old, I thought the seal would last much longer than that. How do I seal my own granite?

Pretty much just like waxing a car. Clean the surface thoroughly, spray the sealer on it, let it sit for a few minutes, and then wipe off the excess. Don't get it wet for 6 hours minimum. I usually apply a 2nd coat after that.

Huh. Here I always thought I couldn't do it myself. What sealant do you use and where do you get it?

I know, right? People always talk about having to re-seal granite like it's some huge daunting task that takes a professional. I was surprised to find out how stupid easy it is. I can't recall the brand I'm using, the granite installers gave it to me. I've seen other brands much everywhere though at Home Depot, Rona, etc.
