The mass majority of these Transverse will be LT models with a few options. They are priced in the mid 40s and this is before incentives, it is not uncommon to see 20% off on GMs either. Pretty competitive with the CX9/Pilot/Highlander.

40-50k is probably the market that they are aiming for. They probably rarely sell High Country's.

Yeah I built one too and the options I would add for a family hauler brings me to $67,432 plus dealer fees. That is crazy. They are trying to get Lexus/Acura/entry level BMW X5 money for these things and they aren't that nice. I can't imagine the depreciation you would eat buying one of these new, especially with a base price of $34,995.

Different class of vehicle. The German comparable is the Mercedes GL for 100k.

These are for people that want a Tahoe without the need for towing. In don't think anyone would pay retail for one.

Also vehicle prices are inflating like crazy right now.
