Man, it has gotten a lot of hate but I think it's pretty nice.
Slap an Audi badge on the front and it would be a great car, would sell like hot cakes.

The problem is calling it a Lamborghini.

And yes, Urus, not URIS ..Can the title be edited?

All the sudden, feel like the $130K X6M .. $140K GLE 63 coupe and the $200K Cayenne Turbo S are "Great Value" ..

I'm a firm believer the concept of the Urus was flawed from the start and this was a huge missed opportunity for Lamborghini to bring back a modern LM002.

The market segment is already getting tired of cynical badge engineering - looking at the Bentayga sales and, more importantly, resale values tells just how uninterested this segment is in paying 5X MSRP for what's been received as a tarted up Touareg. They've already tried it once, I doubt they'll be able to pull it off on the second go 'round.

No, this should've been a new LM002. Traditionally, Lambos have never been about absolute performance, track times or being driver's cars; they've been about being the most bonkers car on the road! This was Lamborghini's opportunity to out-G-Wagon the G-wagon and create something both (relatively) unique on the market and true to the brand.

They still could've used the silly corporate V8 as an entry level and placate the Chinese market, but then jam in a V10 from the Hurican and even the V12 to appeal to their base. One can dream...
This. I think it looks nice, but it just doesn't look like a Lambo. Clearly badge engineering at it's finest.

So who is the clown that is taking their Urus out wheeling on Jeep trails in Waiparous? Must keep getting lost going to the mall. At least put some real tires on it instead of shredding the performance ones and bring a proper jack.

Meh. If you’ve got it, play with it.

I respect a urus wheeling way more than buddy who keeps his California in a hermetically sealed room to preserve resale.

Would it bother you if it was a Toureg?

Right? I mean, why not? it's capable, so just fucking send it! That's how you know someone is baller. Us plebs would be afraid to scratch it, while that guy is actually enjoying it and having fun!

Huge props to the guy offloading his Urus lol. If I had so much money that I could afford to treat a $200+K vehicle like that I totally would.

It is selling like hot cakes as 60% of Lamborghini sales are Uris. Personally I think it's distinctive and stands out.

Isn't there an SQ8 now? I swear I've seen one in traffic and it's remarkably similar, non?

They are all Touaregs, not that that’s a bad thing it’s a great business model. Crazy profit generators for VAG.

Well, a good part of that is due to everything else in their line up being so long in the tooth, while the competition keeps lapping them in releasing new models.

Waiting until the 2031 Model Year Uris is out... The Uris SV-64 J-XL, complete with a 3rd generation of re-tweaked bumper design, new 25" wheels and 11 more HP

Both porsche and Lambo are now SUV companies. The sports cars are a distraction from the core business.

Nah, they are just following the Ford / GM business model. Sell trucks and SUVs to supplement the car business. Think about it. 30 years ago, trucks were cheap and for blue collar. Now you can get an $85K F150 that a CEO would drive. Hell, an XLT is like $55-$60K.
    It's probably the only reason there is a GT350 / GT500 / GT.

Porsche would be dead without the Cayenne.
