As a self-proclaimed middle aged guy, I'm blown away how many recent threads there are that are basically some version of "kids these days..." or "man current trends are stupid"

Speedog is maybe the most visible, but there are lots of others. I know I'm guilty of it too.

Anyway. I guess I'm just yelling at the clouds about other people who are yelling at the clouds. But man, it seems like beyond is 95% old guy complaining these days.

This forum has NEVER been about cars lol At most its been about snobby auto lifestyle (the kind of people who own BMW's and wear branded car jackets while jerking themselves off about car specs and stats that make zero difference in reasons for owning the car).

Its why most of the same people used to deal with Hondas and being ricers. Little to do with cars, lots to do with "lifestyle"

I always thought Beyond was all about hating on Beyond, and then hating on people that hated on Beyond, haha

I'll bite - if people truly want this to be just an automobile enthuisiast's forum then it is as simple as shutting down the non-automotive forum sections and then heavily moderate the remaining sections to ensure that they don't run askew. Maybe post a poll to see if that's what members want.

Do I yell at clouds, sure, but you and many others would most likely find this place to be getting fairly stale in very short order if it were to become a purely automotive topic based forum. It would mean though that I could return that unopened case lot of KY unless a certain someone starts mounting me elsewhere, bareback I just can't get used to.

The best threads have always been about people doing stupid shit when they were young and dumb. Those young dumb kids are either still on here, but have gotten older and wiser, or have been scared off by everyone else yelling at them to get off their lawns.
