    Anyways Canada post doesn't even ring bells, they just leave it on the step. Nice thing about Amazon is that they will replace your package no questions asked if something like this happens.
    For normal mail we don't get a doorbell but if its a package we do

    Safest option is delivery to and pickup from the closest post office - Amazon emails you a notification and barcode.

    Maybe just the delivery people in my areas - they just dump the package OR leave a pickup notice delaying you by 1-2 days without even trying to get a hold of you.

    Anyways I've been shipping everything to my office for years now because of too many issues like this.

    Place large Amazon box on front steps. You can tell what time of day she's coming by, GPS unit inside box, and track to her home.

    Was watching the news this morning on Global and they did a report about Amazon boxes thefts, some city's in the USA are doing this. Placing bait boxes on steps .
