As if there is something fundamentally wrong with the business model of this particular store that is causing them… to go out of business?

Funny story: the owner (I presume?) was nice to me when I bought the bikes.. then when I returned to have them properly set up the derailleur on my gravel bike (that they neglected to adjust properly before sending me home with it for some reason), he was a grumpy dickhead. I thanked him for his help before I left and he literally just walked away and didn't acknowledge me in any way.

If anything we made a better decision because we had a consensus and were all on the same page.

It’s that time of year… super cheap five tens on adidas’s website… 50% off (on top of mark downs) reg freerider is like $55… the winter version (didn’t even know they had that!) is $65/70… pros are $80/90

I just called (crazy, eh?) and they don't seem to have any road components I need anymore. Guy said they've been picked clean.

    Last day is Saturday.

Despite the gouging I have to wonder if they are really any further ahead because volume was way down.
