I found the s3 at another shop for $5500. So bows price equates to a 10% discount. Not that great for a 2017understanding that cervelo restricts the sale pricing

With the losses I’m racking up in the mkts I wonder if I should just buy the s works or emonda slr8. At least get something tangible.

I dunno if this is a pricing error, but if anyone needs a 44cm carbon fibre dropbar, Amazon has a Fizik Cyrano 00 Bull for just under $50 (Wiggle sells it for $362.18)
    https://www.amazon.ca/Fizik-Composit.../dp/B00GWNMEUI

I'm half expecting them to cancel my order, but if not, then it works out cause it's my size haha
    And as expected:

    Hello from Amazon.ca.

We're sorry to report we won't be able to obtain the following item from your order:

"Fizik Composite Carbon Cyrano Bicycle 00 Handlebar (Made for Bull), 44cm, Black"

Although we'd expected to be able to send this item to you, we've since found it's not available from any of our sources at this time. We realize this is disappointing news to receive, and we apologize for any inconvenience we've caused you.

We've cancelled this item from your order.

    Your order is now closed.

Thank you for shopping with Amazon.ca.

Yeah, aside from the e-bike...bit tame. I remember a bunch of higher tier enduros and roubaixs for like 35+% off on past years.
Personally a little glad not to have a big incentive to buy another road bike!

Man, I remember when the Blue Light Specials had real deals. Like 50% off pedals. Weird that they don't have any trainers advertised. I remember buying one at 50% off before too.

They had 10x cycleops fluid2s for $199 each - all sold out already. No Wahoo stuff though.

How about this for a super deal? Open to offers as well
    https://forums.beyond.ca/threads/406...ighlight=venge

The problem with the industry is that margins in the last few years have come down significantly, there's many products out there where a bike shop won't even make a 25-30% margin anymore, kinda tough to offer big discounts on that.

Disappointed with the sale, was hoping to see some smart trainers. Skipped on the Calgary Cycle grand opening in hopes of grabbing one at the Blue Light which has backfired!

Was looking at some kids bike, but looks like my 6 year old can stay with his current bike this year. The Norco Threshold A 105 looks alright for the price, but I really shouldn't get another bike that I don't ride enough.

I'd like to upgrade to an Edge 820/1030...but I just can't get over how expensive these damn things are!

Would anyone be interested in these with me? They reduce wind noise, which as I've found out, can actually be incredibly high and dangerous for roadies over the hours we spend.

The ERTC cycling club up here in Edmonton says they work great and given their 2for1 deal right now, and me moving back to Calgary, I'd really like to try these if someone wants to share an order (or more if people are interested).

I can rarely hear cars coming when I'm on the road, which can be a bit startling when I'm on a road with a small shoulder or no shoulder and a car flys by going 80.
But I picked up a Varia radar to help with that this year, so excited to use that.

As for deals, Cycleops Hammer on for $1082

If you need a 3rd/4th, I'll get one too. I saw someone on the paths with that and thought it was a brilliant idea. I blocked the front of my ear with my hand after just to see how different it sounded and yeah it cuts out a lot of wind noise.

That said, I could probably go buy a shit ton of material for $15 and make some myself haha
