This time of year always gets me thinking about picking up an Ultegra fitted carbon-frame Roubaix or Synapse to replace my CAAD10 so it's more comfortable. Don't know if I can swallow the cost though for a marginally more comfortable geometry (no extensive experience to compare I should say).

what size of bike? I'm tempted to let go of my small Norco Valence to make room. It has been upgraded from stock to 11spd ultegra di2, d-fly, 4iiii precision, RS81-C35 wheels, all the goodies

Calgary cycle updated their sale list. It is actually pretty impressive. I'll prob stop in for clothing sales. i'd like a mountain bike but spending too much time on the roadie to make it worthwhile

I’d be all over that dogma if it was black on black. Damn.

We bought a bike for my kid at the new Bike Shop location on McLeod yesterday. It’s their grand opening this weekend, if it has not been posted, they have 10% off 2019 bikes and 20% off 2018’s and sales on gear as well. Now I’m looking for a bike rack for 4, let me know if you see one for a great price.

Can I get a recommendation for a all mountain bike for around $2500. Looking to buy this weekend. Giant reign and specialized enduro have my attention. Just not sure what to pick.

Do you need that much travel? How about the Anthem? The low end starts at around 3000. With the promotion lately, it should bring the price pretty close to your budget.

The goal is single track moose mountain area. Not interested in full downhill as I’d like to climb hills. Really not sure what I need, I’ll add the anthem to my list see if there is any deals.

I think the Anthem will suit you then. I know a few guys at the bike shop if you need contact.

Be careful not to be oversuspended, it really makes riding no fun. Around the moose area I would argue you need no more than 120-130mm of travel with some progressive geometry, more then that and things just become numb.

Look at the Trance also (150/140mm)
