Check their price against HBI , the other Haworth dealer. The Fern chair is much better than the Zody for ergonomics. That said the Zody is a decent chair also. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I do winter and summer chair.
For winter, the Staples Osgood. Only drawback is that it is not full leather, only bonded - which means you have to mink oil the heck out of it or it won't last long at all.

Anyone familiar with the Steelcase Gesture fabric choices? I am passing off my Secret Labs chair which has been quite decent in favour of more adjustability. Old man back is demanding I pony up for something full retard level, made up my mind already and this is the one I am going to give a go.
Only thing I am waffling on is I don't want leather because of heat these days makes me not like it as much, but I don't want wear out fast fabric either. I seem to be settle on the Billiard fabric as a balance. Any reason not to think this would be the better option?
Most people I know just have the cogent or era. I got a used leap with the cogent fabric, chair is coming up to 12 years old and the fabric still looks great.
I don't think you're going to have any issues regardless of what fabric you decide to go with
Wife is thinking of a new office chair, how is your secret labs chair? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Honestly it has been great overall! Strongest chair I have used and I am hard on chairs. 3 years now and still not a squeak, zero wear or deformity and holds solid. My only issue is I would like a bit better adjustability for my fucked up back and body. I am a bit of an odd duck being pretty much six foot but only having a 31 inch inseam. Being a heavier guy I opted for the XL size which is great for my weight but the lowest height setting still isn't ideal for my leg placement and I find a bit of pressure causes leg and lower back pains once in a while, hence the new chair. I was just going to get another Secret Labs as I am pleased otherwise and just go from the normal size, but in the end after talking with my wife she wants me to have something that gives me the best fit possible and this Gesture seems like it has everything I need. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. No problem suggesting the SL is going to be great though!
We have three of these chairs at home and the oldest one is about 6 Years old. I have no issues with fabric and they are holding pretty well. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Have had the Gesture for 4 years now, Cogent - Blue Jay fabric. If it wasn't for a spill, this chair would still look new. Zero issues. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Get the fabric wrap-around at the top, looks way better than without.

Did we have a beyond dude for that chair? I swear we did. I also have said I'm buying a better chain and I continue not to.
