As an embody owner, lul this is just an embody with a Logitech logo on it, siiiiiiiiiick.

Even the base fabric is super breathable, I don't know why extra cooling is required.

Great chair regardless but gave me a good laugh.

Isn't the additional padding infused with copper to disinfect your farts?

What is the pull strap for at the back of the chair? Is it for the coach to pull you off so you don't get a too many men penalty in the dying minutes of an elimination game?

$1,870 CAD for a chair that doesn't even massage my balls. What is the world coming to.

Really debating that chair. Need a good chair as it’s looking like part time WFH will be in the cards for a while.

Anyone know if this chair is suited for tall people? Like 6’3”-6’6”?

Definitely look into Herman Miller or Steelcase, you gotta try stuff. Way more customization, including heights, for less than that chair (by a lot).

Wow. They somehow found a way to make a Herman Miller chair seem cheapy

Embody is one of the few chairs that only comes in one size from Herman Miller. Usually they have 3. That said, you can probably get an option for a an extended cylinder. It does have a seat pan slider so It will accommodate people with longer legs.

I’m sort of opposite. I’m torso long and want more back support.

I bought a secretlabs Titan chair and really happy with it. Seems really high quality and comfy. Has adjustable lumbar as well which is nice

I thought that I would write a few words now that I have had the Steelcase Gesture for a few weeks.

What I like vs the Embody:
    - Armrest adjustability
    - Better set depth adjustment
    - Better seat padding (HM has a mesh-foam hybridy thing)
    - Better back height
    - Headrest
    - Not squeaky like the embody.
    - Better looking
    - Wider and flat legs to rest your feet
    - be twinsies with @msommers

What I still prefer with the embody:
    - better lower back contours
    - interesting look
    - fits my man curves slightly better with the exception of height

    Dislikes on the Steelcase:
    - slight seat back movement even when locked upright
    - the Leap V2 feels slightly more comfortable on the bottom, but I will reserve this criticism until the Gesture has had a few months to contour to my assets
    - difficult to find the perfect adjustment for the headrest
    - fabric is a bit rough for this price point, but could soften over time

That's because you're not wearing pants.

It doesn't make sense to put a pair of $20 sweat pants between me and an expensive chair. That's what that Lex350 guy advised me anyway.

Upgrading the home office chair. I was 100% set on the Gesture after reading all the reviews + its aesthetics etc. Sales guy told me that I must absolutely try the Leap as well. Sat down in the Leap w/headrest and was amazed. Felt so much better for my lumbar spine.

I am now deciding on colours with the Cogent fabric. Does anyone have experience with lighter coloured Steelcase Fabrics? How do they wear? I am looking at a light grey. Can I expect the lighter colour to slowly darken with time in wear areas?

I've got the light blue and hasn't changed since I got it. Very impressed!

I've got a Leap V2 in the light grey. About 4 years on it and still looks good. PM me your number and I can send you pics.
