The worst area was the intersection of 52nd north to 114th east, other than that every other road I drove was fine

Semi couldn't get up blackfoot N-bound hill @ 42nd ave this morning ..wasn't even close. Always an interesting commute after a bit of snow and cold temps

Looks like everyone left early today. 14th was very slippery from john laurie to around 5th ave. People on shaganappi north of stoney don't know where the lanes are even though you can see them. Overall A++ drive.

Expected much worse this morning. Roads are in decent shape coming in on 14th/Glenmore/Crowchild/9th ave.
Agreed, I think CoC is doing a very good job keeping up at least with the roads I use.

Significant additional snow coming through the rest of the week. Yay?

Seems to be bad every snowfall lately, I think someone is polishing it with a zamboni at night..

25-35cm predicted over the next 36 hours or so - I wonder how much we'll really see. Regardless, roads and traffic will be a shit show - seeing the size of the plowed to the side windrows on 40th Avenue NW, I can only imagine they'll be mini ski hills after the next round of plowing.
    Will fuck off, again.

Snow route parking ban lifted at 7:00am today.

Agree that the windrows from the plows are going to get way out of hand if we truly do get another 300mm snow this week. My front yard is already very deep. Can't wait until spring melts.

Apparently that snow ban was only for plowing and no cleaning. I'm sure we'll see a few more for snow fall and cleanup.

Weather Underground says 7" today, 3" tomorrow, tapering off tomorrow afternoon, then freezing temperatures after that instead of the positive temps foretasted earlier. At least the weekend is only a couple days away and it's easier to stay off the roads, but I see some 90+ minute commutes in my future (that normally take 25min).

Seems to be a lot of anticipation about this one. Radio was saying around 3 this afternoon school board said school is still a good. Road crews are putting stuff on the ground already, etc etc.

It's not the size that matters, it's the taste it leaves in your mouth.

I work for a tech company, one of the few where you would assume a work from home situation could be arranged, but nope, company is super against it

Oh and Lance, if you’re reading this

Let me take a wild guess, they probably think open office is great too because it “promotes collaboration”

Cant say I’ve heard that directly but don’t most companies have this mentality?
