Lol well were you wearing glasses, a ball cap and driving a F150 ? If so, when someones merging , letting
them in vs flooring it and high beaming might be a better plan haha

I usually say a snowblower isn't needed in Calgary but this week I would love one.
If you live on a route with snow plows, get a gas unit as they are better at moving that hard packed snow. If a cul-de-sac or something similar, an electric unit will suffice.

Too baller for me, I could barely justify replacing my terrible shovel.

I kinda wish the roads hadn't been plowed, my unstudded winters are great in the snow, not so much on all the ice beneath it, some intersections are like oil slicks on glass. Now it's too cold for salt/gravel to do a damn thing other than paint damage.

Last year, I didn't take my 2 stage blower out once. Backback blower and shovel did the trick.

I've brought it twice in a week, maybe 5 times this year. Bringing that cost per use down! haha

Seems to be bad every snowfall lately, I think someone is polishing it with a zamboni at night..
Pretty sure this is correct, 114th is by far the worst road I use on a daily basis
Looks like a literal skating rink

When they say multi-vehicle, they aren't kidding. Apparently 40 vehicles involved.

Commute was way worse today, the plow blades left the roads with a nice death shine and people were eating shit left and right. Saw 3 pickup trucks and 1 econo shitbox in snowbanks on the way to work today.

The wife got caught up in this, only ended up with a broken side mirror (thankfully). COPS on scene said 30+ cars. Worst part was they took a very long time to finally get to the injured car at the front of the pile up.

For anyone who lives in the deep south, the valley between Cranston and Sundance knows how awful that area is. Probably 1 accident per day there in the winter.

I'm assuming it was foggy and people just slammed into each other. Too many idiots in this city don't realize they need their lights on even if it's not pitch black outside. I couldn't believe how many people didn't have their lights on when I was driving in at 8 am yesterday. Sure it's not dark but there is blowing snow everywhere you tools. Your whited out back end isn't easy to see.

Brutal. Not much you can do about fog over the river when it's this cold though?

ya,not slam the fucking brakes as you drive into it.

    1. turn on your lights
    2. slow down before entering fog
    3. proceed cautiously and maintain speed
    4. exit fog
    5. resume speed.

    people are fucking idiots.

    NASCAR style.

Some dope was riding the shit out of my tail this morning, I think because I was leaving a good 3 car gap. Some people never learn
