Stoney trail NW was shit this morning. Had a good layer of that slushy snowy shit on it, kept breaking traction in spots in the corolla.

Please not like last year, I felt like I was smoking a pack a day and was considering going to the doctor as my chest hurt, luckily I went to the US and it was smoke free which cleared things upThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Sig nuked by mod.
I hydroplaned a lot the first half of my trip from deer run to mission, then had everything turning to the slushy shit that is slippery on top of everything else.....so happy I haven't swapped to summers yet. maybe next weekend? lol
Summers would have been legitimately suicide this morning, if you even got out of your neighbourhood.

The lake was pretty crazy, waves coming way, way high up, over the boardwalk and bike paths... never seen it like that.
My poor car sitting outside!
Oh well. It's just raining now, so not much to worry about today, unless you're one of those unlucky people that had a tree fall on their house last night.

Looks like we are going to get some small thunderstorms this afternoon popping up from NW to SE Calgary. Although I dont expect any hail yet.
Does anyone know when the weather modification planes start flying around?
I keep checking forecasts and haven’t even seen a call for rain yet let alone hail.

Pea sized hail just outside city in NW 20 min ago. Heading west through Panorama area.
Some big booms today, don't think there's any hail, although the hail suppression birds are up.

Had tiny hail for a few seconds downtown.
Holy fuck, 4pm and it was like a bomb went off in the SW - Deer Run area. Sounded like a superbolt, or some other really strong, positive lightning.
I had the portable AC running in my bedroom and even then it woke me up from a deep sleep.
