Wow 3hrs to get to work, bravo. Thank you for Calgary transit buses blocking traffic everywhere. how the hell did you manage to get stuck in downtown on a flat road is beyond my imagination. Can you think about the children next time?

Had to drive to Carstairs today so I'm glad I missed the gongshow of getting into downtown, heard buddy got stuck on the ctrain for an hour.
Saw 4-5 RCMP rushing to Beiseker though and a car spun out northbound in Airdrie

Getting out of Skyview this morning was brutal, first day of snow it seems like most people have never seen it before and know what to do.
A lady was going 30 with hazard lights on, when I saw the front of her car, it was packed of snow, she only used her wiper to wipe the glass.. why not get out of the car and brush off the snow

Probably the most frustrating part of my drive this morning was seeing the morons who didn't bother clearing the snow off their vehicles. Downright dangerous for everyone just because someone is too lazy.

Soooo umm, any recommendations for a good car jack/price that would work for my Golf R (not sure if it needs low profile) cause it looks like i'll be changing the tires by hand in the garage and about time I finally bought jack...

    I actually like Calgary weather.
Says the unemployed guy who didn't have to drive in today

Literally laughed out loud reading that comment at work. Well done

In all seriousness though, I don't really mind the weather either, especially when I am set up for it. Being rural now and having the race car torn apart in the shop, I'm thinking about setting up a temp garage structure this winter. Will solve 90% of my problems with winter. I also have the property fairly well winterized now compared to last year.

    Weather in Nisku this morning.

80 mins from Royal Oak to blackfoot industrial. Counted 14 cars in the ditch, not counting people who just pulled over and called it quits because they were on summers. Mostly econoboxes, civics, corollas, hyundais, etc. I managed fine in my $1100 V8 RWD 32 year old shitbox Mustang, because winter tires.

Left Aspen at ~715 because i need my brothers gf to drive me (my car is stuck with summers). Took 1h 45 minutes on the dot via bow trial to husky. It was stop from 37th all the way in. The downhill was just pure ice.

Count 9 buses and 1 garbage truck stuck, some sideways/angled that were trying to get west up bow trail, all not moving and showed out of service soooo bad

I'm in Aspen, if you can get to my place later today I can lend you mine. I'm close to Webber.

2h30m for my usual 22 minute commute today. Nothing salted, nothing plowed - thanks Calgary!

So many people just sideways with their 4-ways on lol.

Cemetery hill was closed because buses couldn't get up.

What's strange is that last night when we went out for dinner, there were trucks salting a snow-less road up Edmonton Trail.

Maybe the Italian mob hired those guys.
