    LMAO!!!!

Its bloody awesome they got it to land. I mean to calculate and engineer all that. Hell if I was one of the engineers working on that part, I'd be sitting on the toilet throughout the landing phase.
Kind excited to see the results of the experiments.

Anyone heard anything for Elon Musk? I suspect he will have some funny tweets coming out somewhere along the lines of " Im not even impressed. SpaceX could of done it in half the time and 1/10 of the budget"

The corn dog symbolizes humanity's dreams for immortality while the earth symbolizes the universal forces of nature.

I watched this yesterday, pretty cool stuff! I'm not much of a space guy but I can appreciate the engineering that goes into it. The brother of a colleague of mine works for Rocket Lab USA out of New Zealand and they always live stream their launches too which are fun to watch.

That would be a net benefit to humanity, in two ways.

I thought he's going to call the NASA people pedos. There is only one reason for people to go to Mars and you know they will be screwing around.

I feel like a billionaire can get sufficiently sexxed here on earth. Although what do I know?

It didn't take him long to try and one-up this mission....

"Send probes to Mars?.... I'm freaking MOVING TO MARS.... IN 7 YEARS... like a 70% chance I'm going to do this.... and not only that, I'm... I'm...uh.... I'm... going to BUILD A FREAKING BASE ON MARS.... SO THERE!"

    https://www.engadget.com/2018/11/26/...oving-to-mars/

Such a bozo.... I don't understand why he feels the need to one-up something like this

Elon moving to Mars in 7 years? Yeah, I'll take that bet, haha
On the plus side he caught your interest. I feel We almost need Conor mcgregor types to hype up space exploration. We are doing things that would blow people’s minds 60 years ago yet no one gives a shit.

Can you imagine the new tech and industries that would open up..? Cost of getting to space would go down. Possibility of space mining. New technology in medicine etc..

The world doesn't need more resources, it has plenty for everyone. Better efficiency in resource use is needed. Pollution free energy is the need. That is really the holy grail humanity needs to go to the next stage of evolution. Unlimited POWA.

I partially disagree. Space mining is a important part in sustaining further exploration. It would be cheaper to harvest fuels and develop manufacturing from the resources in space than getting them from earth.

I agree pollution free energy is needed and better resource management. Space is one place where such technologies can be developed. You have to be ultra resourceful in space, that tech can then be transferred back to earth.
