Was watching the CoC traffic cam, funny how some of the cameras are so crystal clear, compared with the ones taken from the old Matrix Nokia phones.

Was supposed to go in to work for OT today. Can't get out of my condo complex. The plow got stuck and is blocking the ramp... Wonderful.

After spending a few hours in the departure lineup this morning, it's probably best you stay home. The airport was a wee bit chaotic

I can imagine. I was at work last night. Aircraft were being held at the gate because it was snowing so hard the deice fluid would expire before they could get airborne. Of course eventually crews start reaching their duty time limit and the flight cancels. Shitty situation all around.

Well it's official, we'll have another snow route parking ban over the weekend.

i left much earlier this morning and it only took me an extra 10min from my normal commute. I found Bow Trail got worse the closer i got to downtown, we will see how the commute home is.

Our office is closing early today, but I have given my group an earlier departure time. The way I view it, if I'm leaving early my staff can have that option as well.
One got my approval to work from home yesterday for today, another left at lunch, and the rest of us are leaving soon.

They really need to start doing cleanup. Curbside parking is going to be dangerous.

    Word.

There is no where for all this snow to go! In our community you already can't see over the boulevard piles or around corners haha. Crazyness all around.

Yeah unless you've got 4wd (or a welded diff ) curbside parking is almost guaranteed to get you stuck, no matter what tires you have. 1 wheel drive for the lose.

We shovel everything onto our grass after the plow comes through. 3rd year doing it and never have issues with the dirt/salt killing the grass, it’s so diluted by the time it gets on the grass it does nothing

Our two neighbors do the same as parking is really tight so getting stuck isn’t an option

It's too bad that's not mandatory like shoveling the sidewalk. Good on ya for looking after that.

According to standard practice in my neighborhood, you're supposed to shovel all the sidewalk and road snow back into the middle of the road

Once spring comes and the snow has a chance of melting, I do shovel everything out onto the road. But at this time of year, I'm shoveling the road up onto the lawn. Probably evens out . . .

My co-worker just described to me someone stuck on Memorial who was stuck trying to pull out onto the main drag, flooring it, like proper limiter action. My coworker then saw a huge cloud of smoke.

    RIP that engine

Wasn't nearly as bad as I anticipated. Took about 8 minutes longer to drive in this morning than on a summer day. I think lots of people stayed home, or took the day off because so many people get Fridays off and make extra long weekends out of it - traffic was very light. If more people were on the road it would have been worse I'm sure.

Transit failed to operate as usual, based on the massive group people standing at the bus stop I drive by every morning it was pretty clear that the last 3-4 buses hadn't bothered to show up.

Oh my back! Shoveled the road in front of my house (twice) so I can park without getting stuck. A neighbor a few doors down was having a lot of trouble getting his Ford Escape out of it's parking space. Of course they haven't removed any snow from that parking space all winter. Sucks to be them. Shoveled for three senior citizens around me who would probably break a hip or have a heart attack out there. Shoveled part of the alley behind my garage. Feel like I have spent the entire day with a shovel in my hands. I'm too old for this shit.
