22C by next week I guess we will have our September in October this year haha.
I'll believe it when I see it. The odds are better in a casino, than predicting Calgary weather.

I feel like environment canada, if the weather sucks, and it is like 45/55 that the prediction models show it is going to be nice always default to nice. I noticed this a couple years ago that next week was ALWAYS going to be nice, never this week, and most of the time never did.

Is there gravel on the main roads in Calgary (Macleod in particular)?

Nah, i've literally watched a severe tstorm roll in over my office when the present forecast still called for nothing but sunny skies (not even a CHANCE of rain). It happens often in the summer.

I use Weather Undergound and I find it shockingly accurate - especially with snowfall amounts and times of day snow will stop/start.

Agreed, I've tried a few other apps and WU is by far the most accurate.

"real fall" is here everyone. 11 straight days of above freezing weather around-the-clock. Those of you who didn't put your yards to bed for the winter will have a chance to rake leaves. Anyone who likes fall hikes can get out to the mountains to see the larches.

Fall is my favourite time of year in Calgary.

Is it time to switch back to all season tires? Or buy a new car for the week?

Recycling bins were tossed all over the alley this morning. That made a big noise in the night!

Yea man, woke me up at 2:30, had to throw ear plugs in to get back to sleep.

Roads were decent this morning but people were going super slow. Crowchild almost came to a standstill at one point with someone doing 50 in the fast lane causing havoc.
