They said last year (2017) it would be released with a new ranger in 2020. Only time will tell, but I loved the mock up pictures. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

For 2020. Still no spyshots, or definitive information yet. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
What everyone hopes it will look like (fan made render):
What it will probably look like (Aussie Ford Everest):
Definitely want the fan render..
Odds are quite good they'll produce the vanilla flavoured version, kind of like Jeep with their upcoming truck - Jeep teased the world with the one in the first picture below but instead the world will see a vanilla model for the masses to crawl around Costco parking lots looking for that empty spot near the doors...This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Not vanilla flavoured...
Vanilla flavoured...
A Bronco like this will never see the light of day - 2 doors? C'mon, give your head a shake - in fact, it's probably very difficult to walk into a dealership and walk out that same day with a 2 door SUV, a Jeep maybe but even 4 doors are the all the rage there as well...

Will fuck off, again.
No chance this thing will be in the $50-$55 range. Edge sport with 401A and touring pack is already $55k. That's before you add in the inflatable seatbelts and DVD player. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

May be possible during those Employee pricing months? Or dealer overstocks, who knows. There is always at least $5K to be had with domestics. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Oh sure there's discounts on most models, but probably not much on the ST.

Base price could still be in the $50-55K range. And even if it is $60K. There isn't anything else like this available right now. So for that I like it. Although I am still not really into the performance SUV thing.

That’s nearing on SQ5 territory... you’d have to be mad to take this over the Audi if they’re within 5-10% of each other
this! This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Agree completely, but I bet once you option up the Audi there's no way they're within 10%.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
An optioned SQ5 is coming in at $75-$80k sticker, just based on the inventory at Glenmore Audi. No where close to what this will probably be at $60-$62k sticker, based on the current Sport model at $57k optioned out. After negotiation, you are still going to be minimum $15k apart. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Sure the Audi will have better build quality, but you are still getting close to the same tech, and bells and whistles with the Ford.
Unfortunately most people still have the mindset of the badge on the front.
Nothing unfortunate about it... it's far more than a badge up front. No question, the Audi is a nicer car to sit in and drive, it's just that it's less affordable for most. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Well consider this is the 1st time a MLB platform vehicle is built in Mexico. Who knows about the reliability of 2018 Q5/SQ5 or even quality. GTI's 1st few years in Mexico were rough. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I think I could still live with a progressiv trim SQ5 over a god damn Ford Edge! An ST model that they already admitted to building for females that wanted a “more aggressive looking car” ...it’s an appearance package with a little suspension and computer work... that doesn’t even make full power compared to other models with that engine!
How is this by any definition a hot rod? Slightly above average HP compared to all the competing soccer mom SUV's and over 4000 lbs? There's already an Edge Sport with almost the same power. It's also probably going to be grossly overpriced given that an Edge Sport is already around $60K all-in. IMO you'd be silly to buy one before they get the usual $10-15K dealer discounts to adjust for quality, depreciation, etc.
