I figured Ford was going to go TT with the new GT500. I sold my 16' GT350 TP in December and will not consider another Mustang until Ford can prove they can manufacture something with inherent quality (so likely never). The GT350 was horrible in that regard, poorly put together with garbage quality control. Great to drive but I could not get over the numerous cosmetic flaws.

Yup... Ford is definitely killing it with these announcements these past couple days!!!!
100k Mustang? These are just for fanboys. That interior does not look like a 100k car whatsoever.

Like numerous specks of dirt in the paint, misaligned hood, black overspray on the inside of the driver's side c-pillar from the black painted roof, numerous waves in the metal on the passenger c-pillar, stitching coming undone on the alcantara portion of the drivers side door panel, press moulding lines on the bumper cap (front & rear) edges, sagging rear bumper, fender vents coming loose (held on with double sided tape).

The lack of quality and inconsistencies with these cars is well known, nearly every GT350 has the rear bumper sag and Ford has done nothing about it.

No. Look again. There are no interior shots.

It's not going to get drastically better than Bullitt's interior; that's what I'm going off of. It's going to be 80-90% the same as the Bullit. Would you still pay 100K for this? I'm sure it's going to be stupid fast, but I'd rather have so many other cars in this price range - C63S Coupe, Carrera/Cayman S and to a lesser degree M4/RS5.

Interesting. That sucks to hear... especially for a car pushing almost 80k.

Hellcat is $80K+, ZL1 is also almost $80K. Another $20K for GT500 isn't that out of line if production is limited.

While if that's your cup of tea is very personal.

What's with the ricey-ass rear wing? Hopefully the real thing looks nothing like that CG model.

The 53's are unveiled this AM. CLS53, E53 (Coupe and Cab). 429hp, electric turbo assist, 21hp electric motor, promise of lag free motoring. Surprises are MCT transmission and 4Matic+ (although no word on drift mode). Of course the infotainment and intelligent drive packages gets the latest updates from the S. Weird that it's electronically limited to 130mph (208km/h). Not that I would drive that fast these days, but you'd think autobahn drivers wouldn't be too happy.
So any comment on what The AMG Speedshift “TCT” gearbox is?

PL mentions double clutching function but how does this vary from the MCT?

I speedread that as MCT when I posted that. Haven’t been able to find anything on TCT. My guess is fancy name for an enhanced torque converter, meaning no wet clutch like MCT.

I can see why they’d try to go in that direction, the MCT isn’t the smoothest when starting slowly off the line.

Can’t say I disagree on the MCT. Great performance but it’s not a gearbox for everyone.

Ugh its the little things that I love sometimes.

Looks like Mercedes is quietly bringing Mercedes Me to Canada starting this fall. Looks like 2019 MY only though...

Looks like you will be able to remote start your new Hybrid AMG come winter Rage.

I cant believe it has taken them this long to roll out and I am definitely perterbed its only 2019 and up since the cars have all the hardware onboard...

Hmm wonder whose network will it run on. I hope it's Telus/Bell.

crappy gfx processor, the VAG group uses nvidia chips so its a smooth 60fps

go find the last dodge viper vid of the dash, when it revved to redline it dropped to 5fps during the transition of the background from black to red, that kinda shit is a deal breaker for me

i tried finding a vid on youtube there are a bunch of the new bullitt but not one shows the dash in action
I have a 14 viper. When the tach changes to the “Stryker” logo I have had nothing but complements on the dash by my passengers. I also like it....but to each their own. It’s usually a frenetic moment when the tach is changing quite honestly so I haven’t closely analyzed the change lol

Little 2.0 L diesel turbo. And not even in North America
I like the looks over the Colorado though.

NA availability was always up in the air. We do love the F150 raptor though. How can it not come here now that the ranger is global. Give it one model year I predict.

They probably think the people here would scoff at the engine even though the whole idea of a raptor isn't about straight line speed.
I actually would buy a Ranger Raptor!

Colorado ZR2 is already here and people loved it.

Ranger is coming back in 2020. I'm sure Raptor version won't be far behind. ZR2 also offers a V6 and Diesel option.
