Default Urban X North Location Now Offering In House Wheel Repairs!!!

    Hey all!

Just thought I would let you all know that at the North East location we are now equipped and operating doing in store wheels repairs!

While we are not equipped with a wheel lathe for doing machined/diamond cut finishes yet, we do have the equipment and abilities to repair and straighten most bent lips and barrels, as well as fixing curb scuffs and scratches and will soon be offering crack repairing as well (Kenny is completing training on TIG welding aluminum). We also are working with a fabulous powder coating company (this service is not done in house) and are able to offer full colour changes etc as well.

For the rest of January and all of February we will be offering our services to all Beyond members for introductory discounted rates, although prices are not fixed and will be determined by the specific job and amount of work involved, so please stop by the shop in person with your rims in need and we will provide you with an accurate quote, or feel free to also shoot me an e-mail at [email protected] with some detailed pictures and we will try and we will try to give you a fair idea of costs. For obvious reasons though, quotes in person will be most accurate.

So come on in early and get those banged up wheel ready for Spring!!

Thanks to all and we look forward to continue helping with all your wheel and tire needs!

    Regards,
    Bob & Kenny

This is great news, I have a rim that is most likely scratched on the inside where the tire seals to the rim causing a very slow leak. Would you be able to repair something like this now with the new equipment?

Good stuff Bob, hope this expanded service offering is profitable for your team. May also help fill in some of the less busy times of the year for you.

Costs will vary based on specifics such as regular colours, specialty colours, clear coated or not clear coated, prep work required etc, so it is tough to give a price like that and it is best to let me see the rims. Besides... You have those fucked up pictures of me that requires I give you extra deals, don't you? Bwahahaha!

Wicked Bob! I had an appointment to get some tires taken off rims and I was going to take them somewhere else to be repaired. Unfortuently I'm a terrible customer and slept through my appointment due to night shift (sorry!) but this is awesome news and I look forward to just getting it all done at UrbanX

If you sleep through bobs appointment he comes to your house and bear hugs you awake. It's frightening.

Good new Bob, great addition! Is this service available only at your UrbanX location so far? How about the other locations like where Jordan is at?

Only we have the equipment in the North Store, but I am sure if it is more convenient dropping off at one of the other stores, the boys would be happy to arrange everything and get it sorted out for you!
