Worst roommate stories

Bored, inspired by another thread... What's your worst roommate story?

I've been lucky, only bad one was this dude for Equador, couldn't figure out why the washroom smelled like shit all the time till I looked in the garbage, rolled up tissue with shit in it, in their country they have poor sewage so it's normal for them, wtf! First time I had heard of this at that point in my life.

HOLY SHIT lol... where do I begin, no paragraphs, coles notes lol...

Most shitty / notable:
-Sister in law renting my basement with husband and baby
-moved out and screwed me out of $3000
-didn't mention the leaking sink downstairs, but that's okay, they lined the wall with towels (just needed the trap tightened)
-carpet, sub-floor, lower 4' of drywall (bathroom, bedroom, and livingroom share the same exterior wall) had to be removed
Worst part: It's family and I still have to smile when I see them lol

Haven't had a bad room mate experience... Never rented with randoms though. Only friends.

Had a random kijiji roommate once, first roommate actually. I think he took actual medication for something mental related...

One time he made a mess of the oven, oil thick on the bottom, burned god knows what too... asked him to clean it, then went downstairs or something. Yeah, turns out he thought the “self clean” function actually cleaned up messes. Next thing I know the smoke detectors are all going off and the house stinks... I asked him to leave shortly after that

There was never a time in my life I would have entertained a random as a roommate. That entire concept is so weird to me.

My one roommate saw that I was binging Game of Thrones. Ruined the story line of the Red Wedding a few episodes prior to me watching it. I debated killing him in his sleep that night.

First year at Uni, roommate at Halls of residence comes back drunk, throws up in his bed and sleeps in it...

Lived in Res for my 1st year with a roommate, he was an experience.

Slept with the window wide open every night, including middle of winter.

Invited his HS girlfiend to come live with him every other weekend, 320lb guy and his 260lb girl on a little twin bed needing noise cancelling headphones and an eye mask in my own room was a bit much.

Routinely stole shit i bought for myself out of our fridge, just treated anything I bought as if it was his own. I just started hiding all my shit and cooling drinks with ice or if i had food leaving it in someone next door's fridge ( seriously )

Showered once a week max.

Hated that I was from Alberta and like to blame me for all his lifes problems. Turns out this is a theme in Nova Scotia, Amazing.

That on top of the usual university res shenanigans that got old after the third week.

Was quite the term... Seriously dont get a roomate in res if at all possible.
