Default How are you cleaning your vinyl/hardwood floors?

Recently bought a home with a luxury vinyl floor. What products/methods are you guys using to keep them clean?

So far I have just been sweeping with the flip mop below, the odd time giving it a vacuum without the brush roll active. Looking to get a liquid cleaner to use with the flip mop as well if anyone has any recommendations.

For hardwood I always used the BONA kits, not sure about luxury vinyl though.

You can buy these at Home Depot for like $25:

The cleaner is super mild and safe for hardwood so I imagine it would be for vinyl as well. It also evaporates very quickly so you don't have to worry about puddles or overspray.

I think the major thing for vinyl plank cleaner is to make sure it is PH neutral, otherwise you'll get haze over time.

Dry dusting pad and then the Bona Hardwood floor mop. will work on the vinyl flooring you have as well.

For those of you that use Bona, have you noticed any residue or dulling of the floor? Quite a few reviews on Amazon mention that, however there are a lot more positive ones.

I used it on engineered hardwood, but there was ZERO residue even on my dark brown floors, I am extremely picky and I loved that stuff. If you follow the instructions, you barely need any and it evaporates so fast I don't even see how it could be leaving a residue unless people are dumping it onto the floor or something. I used a microfiber broom sweeper thing that came with the kit to apply it and buff it until it evaporated.

It leaves a residue if you use too much or once the microfibre pad gets saturated and stops picking it up effectively.
I bought a few of these pads and find they work quite a bit better than the one that came with the kit
