Wondering how the recent changes in how the feds review large projects will play out?
Financial Post isn't enthusiastic about it:

Sounds like shorter review (on principle) but tougher to pass.
There's currently a storm brewing with a pulpmill in NS that has been dumping their waste water into a reserve for 50 yrs, and they have to stop by 2020 - and they now want to dump it into the harbour and local fishing grounds (Not sure if its federal waters? But PEI is up in arms over it also since its shared fishing grounds)
Natives, fishermen, eco nuts, backroom govt deals for decades.. etc The shit winds are blowing and its all going to blow up shortly. They are trying to push thru the testing and approvals and claiming its safe etc In order to meet the 2020 deadline, but the locals aren't gonna take it.

And possibly even more subject to political whims under the guise of environmental, social and gender goals.
