I'm not 100% sure which building it is now, that was a long friggin' time ago (1978-79) but I think it's loft-style apartments now.

OK, if that was in the 70's I for sure didn't attend that venue. 1st street SW had a lot of notable spots even in my day though. Good times. The 1300 block of 1 street SW had one in a basement that I went to a few times. And I think NYLA was in the 1200 block? Not my regular area.

It got shot up. If you walk by, there are sandstone pillars outside of Paper St's doors (the old My Apartment). The bullets chipped the sandstone in the pillars. You can still see them today.
