Default New member with a BMW 328i X-drive question

Hello. This is my first post, and I must say that I am enjoying this site!

Anyway, here's my question. I'm looking at buying a 2013 BMW 328i X-drive. I'm wondering if there are any specific trouble spots that I should be aware of. I am upgrading from a 2007 Honda Fit, which has been bulletproof (282000 kms), and am hoping that there isn't a major flaw with a these cars.

Thanks, and I look forward to your responses.

I have a 2013 335i xDrive and am really enjoying it, great cars in my opinion and I'm sure the 328 isn't far off.

I would like the 335i, but it's just a bit outside of my price range. The 328i is pretty much at the top of my range.

I have been researching the F30 328 and 335 and have found the main problem spot on the 2.0 being the plastic timing guides that can fail and can mess up the engine costing you $$$. I believe this time around, the 335i (N55) has less issues than the 328. The issues with the 328 have me now considering an A4/S4.

Thanks. I drove a few others, but none with this same combination of wheels and color. This was the first one that I drove and I fell in love. Took me a few weeks to work out financing and convincing the wife that we needed it!!
