    Default Bike Painting

A couple of years ago I dropped my tank while trying to remove it. It has a few chips and scratches in it. I'm thinking of having it re-painted and am wondering if anyone can recommend a good shop. The bike is currently red, but I might be looking at changing it to a dark grey or gunmetal.

    Thanks.

Depending on how bad the chips and scratches are you should maybe consider a vinyl wrap of the tank if youre not looking to color match. Unless its super curvy with a ton of angles and weird lines you could totally do this yourself with a good air release film.

Thanks. If I change the color of the tank, I'm going to change the color on everything. I might just see how much to re-paint the tank the factory color.

I did 2 bike tanks myself, its very simple just prep it right. I have had a few bikes Hydrodipped and it looks amazing, always held up well to. Might be an option.

Call up Bob. He's a phenomenal auto body tech (who also builds street rods). He did two of my bikes for me. $600 for the Vrod. $480 for my Vulcan. Name: IMG_20170605_213205_513.jpg

Size: 114.1 KBVrod. Street rod edition. I'm putting Ducati stickers on both bikes just to fuck with people. I'm SO sick of people asking if my Vulcan is a Harley. Nope. It most certainly isn't.

I don't know his last name. He's the painter auto body guru I was referring to you.

Your signature is huge now that your photobucket link is broken.

Thanks for telling me. I have no idea since I turned off the option of seeing signatures. Okay I'll remove it now. Thanks for the heads up.
