Haven't had any issues with mine on 4.3.4. Only time I have had a similar issue was when two devices were fighting for the same ip so I had to choose a new one for the qnap.
Hmm, I did add another computer to the network recently. Maybe I’ll see if they are sharing an IP or something? The NAS works fine accessing folders etc though.. thanks for the idea!
Turns out i had some guys using my NAS GPU for some crypto mining.. They used the Intel chip breach or whatever to get in and use my shit.. QNAP fixed it up for me and it's good to go now. Just for anyone interested lol.
I think this was the vulnerability in Photo Station last year, QNAP had posted versions of Photo Station that would install crypto mining on the SAN. Basically developers pulled an Office Space haha. If you installed the affected versions, you would have that crypto mining stuck running in the background. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

wtf lol. Much weirder problem then I originally thought.
The QNAP Guy said it was malware haha i just about shit my pants, but he immediately followed that with "but i've cleared it and im restarting your NAS"...
But Rage what you're saying makes more sense, as it happened with the firmware update.
