Reading a SAS drive

So my server died and i need to get information off a SAS drive (which works fine). Any ideas on how to get the data off (about 10 gigs)? The sooner the better.

Not sure what you're asking. Normally I'd say just hook it up to another computer that has an SAS controller, and copy data, but I'm assuming your experience a problem while doing this?

Do you not have access to another SAS controller?
Issues mounting the volume on another system?
Was it part of a RAID volume previously?
You're asking beyond if anyone else has an SAS controller?

Plug it into another SAS controller? I got access to a few various kinds of SAS controllers if you need help accessing the data. It depends if it was in IT-Mode (like JBOD) or part of a raid set. If it's a raid drive, your only option may be to find a controller by the same brand as the old one. Need way more details.

The problem was i didn't have access to a SAS controller, someone did end up helping me.
